My brother graduated from Dental school this past weekend. Everyone in the fam is really proud of this guy. What he accomplished in the past four years is Amazing.
...But I think being called a doctor for the first time at the graduation really went to DB's head...He told his kids to start calling him 'Dr. Dad' and when Jenn asked him what he wanted for dinner he said, "Hmmm, I don't know, I'll find out what Doctors eat and I'll get back to ya."
Doug said the most unreal thing to him was just the fact that he was actually done with school. He started school when he was 6 years old, and now, all these years later, he's finally DONE. It made me think of this picture of Douggy holding his Preschool Diploma. And me, holding my chewy sweetart.
This was back in the day when our band ACDC was still together. It was a requirement of the band to have the same haircut. If they make a movie of us I'm going to be humiliated when the words at the end of the movie read..."DC went on to become a successful Dentist and resides in New Mexico with his wife and two children... AC sells sno-cones from a cart at her local Boys and Girls Club"
I love it!! I can't wait to get that lazy Doc out of bed to show him this post. What a great picture! Thanks so much for coming! We had so much fun with you & I hope we didn't drive you too crazy. You're a perfect aunt, sister & sister-in-law! Thanks for taking the time to come down...it meant a lot to us. Brookie is still telling us to go pick you up where ever we dropped you off and Dallin keeps saying he wants to go to "Orango" to stay at your house. (A mix of Oregon & Orlando?? I don't know!)

I forgot about chewy sweetarts, but man did you love candy. It was good to have you down here and I think its about time to bring back the old 'Do.
