New Mexy

Last week I flew to New Mexico to meet Doug and Jen's newest little bug. She's pulls this hilarious zoolander face, pursing her lips like she's posing for the camera. Maybe it's to distract you from her sweet receding red hairline, which is even funnier. She is the sweetest tinyest little thing. That is, until night time rolls around. I took a turn staying up with her to let Jen get some sleep and I wish I could go back and watch it on video. It was no joke. I made it til 4:00 and then my sister in law michele came down to rescue me and show me how it's done.

These are the other two monsters...

Brookie. I love her. She melts my heart because she is so sweet. She'll say all panicky, "MOOOOOOM!

MAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWM!"

Then Jen will say, "Geez, what?!"

And Brooke will say, "I love you" and then run off.

It is so funny.


In this picture, Dallin was mad after Doug went off to work, he didn't like being the lone little dude among 6 crazy girls.

I failed at getting any pictures of big people. But we had so much fun. Our joke anthem for the trip was "Girls gone wild! Gettin' sexy in new mexy!" because it was an all girls trip and we got mani/pedis, and everyday just hung out in the sun and talked and talked and... TALKED, like girls in my family do. We had some serious therapy sessions between all the talking and running! JJ was running 2 times a day like a crazy person and I biked beside her. Not sexy. Nor was it sexy when all our flights were all delayed and we were held hostage in the airport. But it was such a great trip, I wish we could do it more.
