NO MORE WORK!!!
I finally finished all my shifts and started my maternity leave! I seriously can't believe I made it working through all my shifts. It... was... rough. Every time I would wake up at 5:30 in the morning and drag my aching back into work I would tell myself, "just make it through today... just worrying about today." and it worked like a charm. I made it to 39 weeks and now I'm done!! Some days were so freaking hard... standing all day, feeling so light-headed trying to breath through a mask, being hot and sweaty all day (even though the OR temp is kept at a frigid 65 degrees and everyone else in the room is freezing)
I was hoping the little man would come early to get me out of some of my shifts, but the little free-loader is milking it and hitch-hiking all the way to my due date...
...But the most annoying part of work was answering the same 5 questions ALL DAY LONG. I just wanted to put a sign on my forehead saying:
I'm having a boy.
I'm due Feb. 19th.
NO we don't have a name.
Yes, the rumors are true, we might name him Riggins.
Yes, Riggins...
No, I'm not joking.
tell that free loader to come out already! I can't believe you were still working, you are seriously my hero. I was a lazy sack of worthlessness for 9 months. I was a parasite with another parasite attached to me. Tyler is so lucky he has a sugar mama. Can't meet to wait the little lad!! come out already! I'm soooo excited for you guys. you are going to be obsessed.
