Robin Hood was one of my very first loves of my life (I have pictures of Kevin Costner and Christian Slater taped all over my old journals to prove it) There is just something about that do- gooder Hood that I have been drawn to since I was little. I love the way he used a big oak tree as a hideout, I loved that accuracy of his arrows while riding a horse through the forest, and I loved how much he loved Maid Marian.

I will visit this place before I die. Hadrian's Wall, UK. Although it has nothing to do with the real legend of robin hood, it was a location used in the film with Kevin Costner and I have always, always loved the look of a big long rock wall cutting through a green pasture... And the giant sycamore tree adds a nice touch as well... dang.

So there's a new remake of Robin Hood with Russel Crowe coming out in 2 months! This trailer makes it look like a cross between Gladiator and Troy. I hope, oh pleeeease, let it be as good as I think it will be. I will be first in line to find out.

So, it's Saturday night tonight and what are Tyler and I doing? We hooked up an old VHS player, dusted off my copy of Robin Hood from 1991 and wishing we lived in the time of Robin Hood...
Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves is one of my favorite movies! A lot of people do visit this spot and take pictures and post it online. I can see why they chose to put it in the movie. It's rather iconic all on it's own, I think and I'd like to visit there one day as well.
