OUR FIRST HOME!

We bought a house! Thats right. This cute little bungalow officially has our name on the contract! We made an offer on Tyler's birthday and we close on our one year anniversary... it was so meant to be. Yo family -- now will you come visit me??
*note... these pictures show the house fully furnished. when we move in we will have plastic fold out chairs from the dollar store...

The back yard is UH-Mazing! Behind the fence is a little stream. And yes, that is our yurt. It is my new favorite thing in the world.

Can someone hurry and tell me how to plant a garden and keep plants alive?
Inside the yurt. Everyone i know must sleep in here at least one night. Who's gonna be the first to sign the yurt guestbook???

  1. This place is unbelievable! How cute! Love the hardwood floors, the kitchen the cute bathroom, the backyard... not quite sure how this "yurt" functions, but it looks relaxing. How many bedrooms? Or does the yurt serve as a bedroom? Must know more. Mom

  8. I am seriously so excited for you guys... and a little jealous. I love it! I really like the windows and I'm dying to have a bigger garden. I've seen some cool yurts, but that one is deluxe!! and it's in your backyard! Rivers (and me) are making plans right now to come stay in it. I'm so glad you finally tipped me off that you have a blog! I read the whole thing. A few comments: That Phi Phi Island picture should be in a magazine - you two both look like fitness models with your perfect bodies. The belly fat hide out to steal stuff!? I can picture what the girl looked like - I probably sold shaved ice to her when she was 6. Do you get all your cereal at WinCo? I miss that place. And, I'm impressed you jumped off the Santiam bridge - that's a high one - ask Tyler and Jason how great I am at swimming in cold water (I've almost died twice :) I'm so glad I got to see pics of the house!
